The process creates a smooth corrosion resistant surface which minimizes deposits on the pipe wall and prevents clogging of the distribution system. This is achieved by applying a micro thin coating onto the inner surface of the pipe wall which reduces friction between the fluid and its surroundings in order to achieve maximum flow rates with minimum pressure drop.
